Jambo Minda Foundation

I am Muammar Mufid, a recipient of the Jambo Minda Scholarship, currently pursuing my Master’s degree while serving as a research assistant. My research focuses on Artificial Intelligence (AI), a field that contributes significantly to technological advancement and society. The Jambo Minda Scholarship has provided valuable support for my research and learning needs. I sincerely express my gratitude for this assistance, which motivates me to continue learning and contributing positively to society.

I was once at the receiving end of scholarships by Jambo Minda Foundation. I was a victim of tsunami disaster in 2004, and post-disaster life was not easy while I was managing my bachelor’s degree program in engineering at Syah Kuala University. As I see it, Jambo Minda Foundation is one among few non-profits that is heavily invested and focused on local community and issues. And I would not be surprised that one day, I’ll hear similar story to that of mine being testified here by future generations.
